We are a charity, focused on promoting responsibly sourced seafood to young people as part of a healthy diet. We offer training to people coming into the seafood industry or who want to improve their understanding of it. To support our charitable activities, we have a wide range of courses for the general public aimed at increasing the knowledge of seafood amongst food lovers.

We offer to create individually tailored courses for restaurants, catering companies, hotels etc. The day can include an escorted market visit looking at species identification and quality assessment along with hands on fishmongering sessions and or innovation product development sessions. These sessions can be delivered by our own experienced blockman trainers or chef trainers.If you simply want to hire our facilities and bring in your own team to deliver your own day our rates for hire for both our kitchen facilities and cutting wet room are competitive.
